The fiber reflection memory network consists of three parts: network, router and fiber. The model of the network card is VMIC VMIPCI-5565 and the router is VMIACC-5595. The fiber reflection memory network * high transmission speed is 170Mbyte / s, * large can support 256 nodes.The fiber reflection memory network has two configurations: ring and star; these two configurations are combined in practical application. See Figure 1. The network structure is divided into two layers, the top is ring, the bottom is star. The system master dispatching computer and four routers form the top ring network, and each equipment computer is connected to the router to form the underlying node.The advantages of this hybrid structure lie in: first, the system clock information sent by the master computer reaches each node is short and consistent, which is conducive to the synchronous operation between the system equipment; second, the simulation system has a variety of simulation configuration, each simulation configuration requires not the same equipment, and the hybrid structure fiber reflection memory network allows to skip unused nodes, so that some equipment nodes in the test configuration do not need to start up.Figure 1 The system adopts the cheaper multimode optical fiber, and the large transmission distance between the nodes is 300 meters, which has met the wiring requirements of the laboratory.However, when using multimode fiber, the top layer ring network is actually quasi-ring, and the top layer wiring must occupy two ports of each router.2. Semireal-object simulation system design The master computer sets the simulation mode and equipment configuration of the simulation system through the optical fiber reflection memory network, is responsible for the release of the system clock, starts, suspor stops the operation of the system, and monitors the data exchange on the optical fiber reflection memory network, so as to master the operation status of each device in the system.The data throughput of the simulation system is very large. In addition to the basic hardware factors, it also considers the communication protocol and information format scheme, as well as the way the software reads data, which will greatly affect the operation efficiency of the whole fiber reflection memory network.
Working as dual-end memory, the local host writes about its reflected memory address space, which is a port of the local memory.The RFM board automatically transmits this new data from its other port, an optical fiber connected to a network of a ring architecture, working at a 2.1G baud rate.The next RFM board in the network receives this new data, and its local memory will be updated within 400ns.The network of RFM products can greatly save the cost of software development, because there is no need to write, test any application code, nor write the corresponding documentation, not to maintain assembly information and decoding information, and parse data from input information.Software costs are discretionary with the company as independent * for expensive overhead.RFM products require no software and learning curve and will greatly save the time to market.
The network of RFM products provides many features beyond the standard network.Features such as dual-end RFM, high-speed data transmission, and software transparency make RFM products' networks easy to use and provide powerful solutions for multi-computer connections.Compared to traditional connectivity methods for RFM products that require overhead for development time, testing, maintenance, documentation for additional software, and additional CPU requirements.
