DSNU series thin cylinder - flexible buffer
Festo DSNU series circular pneumatic cylinders have flexible buffer rings at both ends of the actuator sleeve. The 3-component system has a stainless steel piston rod that provides excellent performance and long service life. These double acting pneumatic actuators have double connection ports for pushing and retracting the piston rod in linear motion to compress air. The comprehensive range of accessories makes it possible to install DSNU cylinders in almost any position.
Flexible buffer
DSNU P-type flexible buffer pneumatic cylinder can directly absorb energy through the flexible buffer ring integrated into the main piston. This method of energy absorption makes these cylinders ideal for low load and low speed applications.

How to install the pneumatic cylinder?
DSNU series pneumatic circular actuators conform to ISO 6432 standard, which enables them to be installed in any position, thus being suitable for the required application. The ISO 6432 standard establishes metric cylinder mounting dimensions to provide interchangeability between commonly used hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. The optional mounting accessories provide further flexibility, allowing the cylinder to connect a rotating bracket for free movement, using a base mount to support high loads, or combined with other actuators to provide a wider range of motion.
