The AX5000 dual channel servo driver provides the best functionality, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. Components required for operation, such as power supply unit, EMC filter and DC bus capacitor, have been integrated. The control loop adopts cascade structure to support fast and highly dynamic positioning tasks. As a high-performance system communication, EtherCAT can realize the ideal interface with PC based control technology.
The dual channel version of the AX5000 drive offers varying current levels from 2 x 1.5 A to 2 x 6 A. These are two independent channels, whose rated current can adapt to the corresponding connected motor. With flexible adjustment options, when the second channel drives a smaller motor, it is also possible to connect a larger motor to a dual channel device. The allowable total current of the equipment must be considered during adjustment.
The AX Bridge quick connect system can simply and quickly connect multiple AX5000 devices to form a multi axis system. The plug-in power supply and connection module connects the power supply, DC bus and 24 V DC control voltage. Motors of different types and sizes, such as synchronous, linear, torque, asynchronous, and voice coil motors, can be connected to the AX5000 without additional measures. The multi feedback interface supports all common standards. Sensorless operation models of synchronous and asynchronous motors can also be parameterized.
The optional AX58xx supports typical drive integrated safety functions and meets the requirements of EN ISO 13849-1:2015 (Cat. 4, PL e), EN 61508:2010 (SIL 3) and EN 62061:2005+A1: 2013/A2:2015 (SIL CL3)
